Do you treat walk-in patients?

Due to COVID-19 we are requiring all patients to call and make an appointment before coming in.
 

I do not have insurance; will you still treat me?

We highly encourage insurance plans, but if you do not have insurance we will still treat you.  However, you would have to pay out-of-pocket.
 

If I do not live in Fort Lee, NJ, will you still treat me?

Yes, we treat out-of-town patients, as well as patients living in surrounding areas.
 

Are you open on the weekend?

Yes, we are open on weekends.  Our hours of operation are Saturday and Sunday, 9 am - 5 pm.
 

What services does Prompt Med Urgent Care provide?

What are the hours of operation for Prompt Med Urgent Care?

Our hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 11 am – 7 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 9 am - 5 pm; we are closed on Wednesday.
 

How do I know if I need to go to Prompt Med Urgent or the ER?

If you feel that your condition is life-threatening, then you need to be seen in a hospital Emergency Room and should call 911.
 

Do you provide X-Rays at your facility?

Do you take insurance, and what forms of payment do you accept?

We accept most major insurance plans.  Please see our Insurance and Fees page for more information.
 

What age groups does Prompt Med Urgent Care treat?

We treat patients of all ages.  From pediatrics to senior citizens, we are equipped to treat a myriad of medical conditions and minor emergencies
 

Who will care for me?

Prompt Med Urgent Care is staffed with experienced physicians and physician assistants who will see you.
 

How long will I have to wait?

Patients are generally treated on a first-come, first-served basis.  Every attempt will be made to see you in a timely fashion.  Wait times are based on the number of patients seeking care and the seriousness of their symptoms.  Additionally, appointments may be made using ZipPass.
